This platform stores account, study-progress, cohort, and billing state needed to deliver NPTE-style study tools, readiness analytics, and institutional assignments.

What we collect

• Account details such as name, email, role, and school affiliation.
• Study activity such as answers, flashcard reviews, exams, assignments, and readiness metrics.
• Billing state needed to enforce entitlements, without exposing full payment-card details in the app.
• Operational telemetry needed to detect errors, abuse, and service instability.

How institutional visibility works

When a student joins a school or cohort, authorized school administrators and instructors can view assignment completion, readiness trends, at-risk indicators, and scoped study activity for the cohorts they manage.

Institutional users should not receive access to private billing details, private notes, or private AI conversations unless a future policy and product surface explicitly grants that access.

How we use data

• Deliver quizzes, exams, flashcards, videos, cases, and study plans.
• Generate cohort readiness, at-risk reporting, and assignment completion analytics.
• Investigate operational failures, webhook issues, and abuse patterns.

Retention and security

We use server-side authorization, entitlement checks, audit trails, and environment-scoped secrets to reduce the risk of unauthorized access. Production operations should also include managed backups, restore testing, and routine security review.
